Sha'kabu's show record stands alone as possibly one of West Australia's most nationally successful stallions having won at prestigeous shows in four states.  A three time State Champion and Supreme Exhibit at both Arabian and Open shows in his home state, Sha'kabu has continued to impress judges on the east coast of Australia.  At his first show in New South Wales, he was declared Supreme Exhibit and since then has only been unplaced once in his entire show career.  Only lightly shown, Sha'kabu has also won the following major awards;  Top 10 Australian Champion Colt 3&4yrs, NSW Reserve State Champion Stallion and Queensland Challenge Top 5 Stallion.  At the recent NSW National Show, Sha'kabu also took out the liberty event, proving himself a crowd favorite.

In the breeding barn, Sha'kabu has a wonderful group of foals already, from three stud seasons.  Presented with a diverse range of mares, he has managed to produce distictive progeny who inherit their sires wonderful movement and demanding presence.  Largely unshown to date, Sha'kabu's sons and daughters are admired by all who see them, and are rarely on the market for very long.  A few of his oldest offspring are being carefully prepared for endurance careers.

Since Sha'kabu's move to EB Lodge in late 2008, he has been guided in his saddle career by Andrew Buckley, one of NSW's premier young dressage and show trainers.  With slow, careful education and understanding, Sha'kabu has become a confident and happy saddle horse over the past 12 months.  However, we recommend furthur training in this area before he is ready to be shown under saddle.

With so much more to offer in the future, Wyngura Arabians is proud to be able to offer this young stallion to you at this exciting stage of his life.  Sha'kabu has recently returned to full work at EB Lodge in preparation for the upcoming Australian Championships, in which he is entered.  A show/training package for the new owners may be negotiated with EB Lodge privately.
